Having completed a photo shoot for the new product range, including lifestyle and pack shots, our brief was to create a press launch item to be sent as an invitation to all media.
Our design was a custom made box containing a full product resting in satin. As the hinged box was opened it lifted the bottle up out of the satin so that it appeared to float out - lighter than air. With three beautiful white feathers in the box, the whole impression on opening it was one of lightness, to key in with the product quality of being in incredibly 'light-feeling' sun lotion.
The product information leaflet / press release was hot-spotted into the lid of the box.
Although the production required a reasonable investment, it had a strong impact and resulted in a high attendance by press - the launch was highly successful.
Project: Nivea Lip Gloss Idents Having already completed a range of pack shot photography for the Nivea Lip Care and Q10 ranges, we were briefed to create a range of visual idents for use by magazines, to promote the young image of the range. Using background photographs blended with vectored images and product shots we created a range of striking images that successfully identified the brand with the target audience. We also art directed a full photo shoot creating new lifestyle and pack shot product photography.
Project: Nivea DNAge Press Launch Invite The client wanted a simple invitation on a restricted budget that would stand out when sent to journalists. We created a small four page invite using the brand colours. A subtle blend of metallic and pantone inks gave the invitation a strong impact, especially when presented in a foiled envelope.
