Project Description

Designing a stamp must be something of a dream for anyone who collected stamps as a child, but the world is changing and while stamps have become used less frequently for personal post, they have become even more collectible.

We created a beautiful set of stamps for the Isle of Man Post Office to celebrate 300 years of the Royal Artillery and it was through our connections with a veterans charity in the UK that we found Kate Philp, hero, ex-gunner, who traveled to the South Pole with Prince Harry and became the face of our sixth stamp and the main character in the launch.

The Isle of Man has long associations with the Royal Artillery and it was a matter of great pride that we found pictures of Manx servicemen from the first and second world wars.

Along with the stamps we designed a range of collectors’ collateral – a first day cover, cancel, booklet and many other items.
